Don’t forget to keep your feeders clean.  It is especially important this time of year when leftover seed can get wet and moldy.  Use a good brush and scrub the feeder inside and out.  Then, prepare a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts water) and soak your feeder for several minutes.  Thoroughly rinse with fresh water and allow to air dry.  You should clean your feeders every month or so.  However, watch them closely as you may need to clean them more often.
