Pine Siskins on the Bird Quest 18" Super Spiral.This is a great feeder for several reasons.
First, it is larger and can hold up to 3 quarts of seed.
Second, it has a dozen seed ports allowing for more birds to feed at once.
Third, the spiral means that birds can queue on the feeder even if a port is not currently available.
Fourth, the spiral makes it easier for birds such as flickers and woodpeckers to use the feeder.
Fifth, the top and bottom are easily removed for cleaning.
And finally, the 18" Super Spiral is a great deal. It is not much more then the smaller tube feeders with less capacity and fewer seed ports.
