Snow Geese just off of I-5

Nancy and I caught an early ferry out of Kingston and drove up to Mukilteo to meet our friends Jon, Anne, Mary and Cindy.  We had a great breakfast and then all piled into their Eurovan for the trip north.  We noticed a large flock of Snow Geese right off of the highway at exit #224.  Jon took the exit and drove us over to the edge of the field.  The sight of all the geese was pretty impressive but what really made the day was hearing all their calls as a passing eagle sent the flock into the air.

We drove around to the back of the fields in the hope of getting another view.  We couldn't get any closer to the geese but did manage to see two Bald Eagles in the process of maintaining their nest.

Here is a quick list of the birds we identified.
    Northern Harrier
    Bald Eagle
    Snow Geese
    Trumpeter Swan
Swallows (The light was wrong so we couldn't make a specific ID)
    Red-tailed Hawk
    Black Morph Red-tailed Hawk
    Peregrine Falcon
    Song Sparrows
    Teal
    Pintail
    Mallards
    Gadwall
