Backyard Bird Sightings

We have a couple of sightings to report.  Just lately we have had at least two male American Goldfinches (AMGO) to our nyjer & sunflower chip feeder.  This morning I noticed that they had been joined by a female.  It is always good to have the goldfinches back!

Yesterday we saw our first hummingbird of the season using our Dr. JBs feeder.  It was a female but I could not tell if it was an Anna's (ANHU) or a Rufous (RUHU).  We had a hummer do a fly-by a couple weeks ago but this was the first one we have seen feeding.
