I know many of you will hate to hear this but we are getting close to the holidays and the need to start thinking about gifts.  As far as I'm concerned, you can never start planning too early.  Knowing what you are going to give makes the holiday season so much more enjoyable.

So, as you do start thinking about gift giving, please keep The Wild Bird in mind.  The great thing about shopping here is that you can give a gift that will last for years; or even a lifetime.  A quality bird feeder can bring a person daily enjoyment for many years to come.  Combining a field guide with a pair of binoculars can get a friend started on a lifetime of great bird watching experiences.  How about a heated bird bath for the birder who seems to have everything?

Another great thing about shopping at The Wild Bird is that you don't have to spend a lot in order to give years of enjoyment.  You can combine a quality Droll Yankees tube feeder with Bob Morse's Birds of the Puget Sound Region for under $50.  We have the Stokes Talon binoculars which are great "entry level" glasses that price around $200 for either the 8x42 or 10x42 models.  Not only are these a great value but they also come with a fantastic warranty.

We are located in Poulsbo Village next to Taprock Northwest Grill (the old Mitzels site) and are open Mon - Sat.  Come on down and let Nancy and me help you pick out the perfect gifts for your friends and family.
