A gray November morning at Poulsbo's Fish Park

Nov 7, 2007
About 8:30am
Temps in the low 50s
Gray and damp

The birds were a bit less active then yesterday but we still had quite a few to watch.  This morning I was joined by Nancy and Lili the corgi.  Once again I scheduled about 40 minutes and we ended up running out of time.  I think I need at least one hour to wander through the park and visit all the local birds.

Nancy & Lili

Here is our list for the morning...

Song Sparrows
House Finches
Bald Eagles
Dark-eyed Juncos
Great Blue Heron (by ear)
Belted Kingfishers
Downey Woodpecker
Black-capped Chickadee
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
And a lot of frogs (by ear, the little rascals are hard to track down)

A view over the large pond at Fish Park.
