I have resolved to work harder this year to raise consciousness about environmental topics including understanding natural soundscapes.
Martyn Stewart and I (Mark Oberle) are hosting our 4th annual nature audio recording workshop in late May at the University of Washington Center for Urban Horticulture. As in the past, the workshop will be aimed both at beginners who want to record backyard birds, and researchers who have particular audio recording needs for their field work.
