I'm not sure why but many people really love raptors. Maybe it is their size and how fierce they look. Maybe it is the amazing way they command the sky. Whatever the reasons are, raptors are impressive birds and it is rare to get a really close look at one. That is why the next meeting of the Kitsap Audubon Society (KAS) is so special. The speaker this month is Jaye Moore of the Northwest Raptor Center in Sequim. Jaye will be joined by several of her rehabilitating birds of prey. So, be sure to mark Jan 14th, 2008 on your calendar.
