Nancy and I took a short drive yesterday and swung by Fish Park and Kitsap Memorial State Park looking for birds.  We saw a few but nothing really outstanding.  I would have to say the highlight for me was a Winter Wren that popped out on a small brush pile and stood there long enough for us to get some great views.

This morning we woke up to about 5" of snow in our yard.  The clouds had moved off so the neighborhood was all blue and white.  I thought it might be a great time to see what Fish Park looked like with a nice layer of snow on the ground.  The drive over was slower then I anticipated so I only had time to walk quickly while taking some photos.  I saw a few birds but had no time to really pause and give them a look.

Here are some photos from yesterday and this morning.
