I left home early yesterday morning so I could swing by Office Max to
pick up some emergency office supplies. I had heard a while ago that
there is a Red-tailed Hawk that often hangs out up there so I always
scan the light standards as I drive by. I spotted him as I left Office Max and turned down the hill towards town. I quickly pulled over and watched for a few minutes. He swooped down to investigate something in a patch of roadside grass and then immediately flew back up to sit atop another streetlight.
I'll head back up there with my spotting scope & digital camera rig and see if I can't get a photo or two. As always, I'll post hem here.
