Last Sunday was going to be my only day off over a two week period so I decided to take myself out for breakfast and a quick trip down to Brinnon and Dosewallips State Park.

I had a nice breakfast at The Halfway House in Brinnon and then drove over to the beach access at the state park.  I really didn't have a lot of time so I just walked down to the beach to see what I could find.  They have a nice raised viewing platform there and a beach for digging oysters and clams.  The highlights were watching 7 or 8 Bald Eagles down at the tide line as well as a number of Swallows flying overhead.
